Chateau Mayne Pagard 1996
Well, as I type this, I have a nasty cut on my finger because the neck of the bottle was cracked and there were some sharp edges.
It's very similar to Grand Puch 1996 and, like that wine at a little less than four years old I think that it could stand another year or so in the cellar. Dark in colour with a nice flavour but just a few rough edges that will need a little time to improve. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating 0.
