Chateau Du Grande Puch 1995 Mmmm, this was nice. Just about the right age. A full flavour, dark and subtle. I really enjoyed this. It just goes to show that a decent wine from one of the petit Chateaux can be really good if given time to age in the right conditions.
Buying info, it cost about 20 francs in Super U three of four years ago. You can buy the current release (1998) for about 22 francs today and wait. Wine rating 7/10. Value rating +1.
